Short selling on Wall Street is illegal. Real estate short sales are an everyday common occurrence. Don't confuse the two.

On May 9, 2009 The Desert Sun took it upon themselves to release an article relating to foreclosures and posted images of Power Brokers International's real estate listings in the desert area without release or consent. Without having the integrity of contacting our office or allowing us the basic opportunity to respond to accusations and claims made against Power Brokers International, its' staff and or present listings.

With that in mind, the following is a statement issued from the President and CEO of Power Brokers International Inc., Christian Arbid in response to the Desert Sun Article:

In a recent article published in the Desert Scum entitled "Indio's foreclosure ordinance drawing national attention" brings to light an eye opening thought. Apparently, the Indio Police Dept is not concerned with the rapidly increasing crime rate, rapes, murders, and growing gangs. Rather its focus is to judge blooming petunia‘s and sponsoring "whose lawn is greener" contests. Now, if this was occurring in Simi Valley or Glendale, (two of the safest cities in the state where one can actually walk comfortably down the street at night) I might understand but, in Indio, it‘s inexcusable. Maybe during the next round of hiring at the Indio Police Department, dept. heads may want to consider hiring officers with a gardening/landscaping background in order to meet the new criteria for the police department. Apparently there is no crime in Indio. Who cares about gang warfare and dead humans? Let‘s keep focused on the dead grass and malnourished daffodils.
